It’s no wonder why a pair of jeans can cost $99, or shoes costing $129, or even handbags and purses costing $399. Now imagine these being the sales prices! Yes! This is where our society is. Jordan shoes, even though you can find them in every city, in every mall, there still going to cost you $89 and up. Louis Vuitton, rare fashion bags, selling for over $1,000 on the internet.
Is this really a fashion statement? Are $1,000 fashion purses considered ‘The Style’? In a simply word.. Yes! Truth is, value is only what somebody is willing to pay for. If somebody is willing to pay $1,000 for a purse, then you can guarantee that is the style. That what our society wants. That’s what we crave. That’s what makes up stylish, but superficial.
So yes, as humans, we tend to crave the trendy, in-style items. We even pay big money for these items. The days of covering our needs or necessities have past. We are now in a time where we want to live the life of luxury. We build this fashion persona and fill our dreams with all of the accessories that it can contain, including handbags! With this being the focal point of many of our outfits, it’s easy to see why they have become so popular. Why we spend so much money on these items. In relative terms, it has become some of our new necessities!
